Recently, Investment & Retirement Consultant, Dimitri Poliak, and Chris Lee, Vice President, Communications, spoke at the WorldatWork 2018 Total Rewards Canadian Conference.
Using this opportunity to talk to individuals about the importance of the total rewards experience both Dimitri and Chris focused on how improving the employee experience not only helps employees but the organization as well.
Dimitri led a discussion around helping employees prepare for retirement and how ensuring you have a retirement plan that meets employee needs while also providing education helps employees be retirement ready and the organization mitigate the challenges of an older employee base.
Chris spoke to the idea of communicating with employees like humans, rather than resources and while there's no perfect measure for ROI when it comes to communications, taking the time to inform and educate employees will help your organization build a happy, healthy and productive work environment.
Chris also used the same concept to lead a recent CPBI Ontario webinar to illustrate how to enhance effective communications around wellness and well-being with employees and help to contribute to a healthier workforce.
